FEI Investment Challenge 2026 — Finals
The FEI Investment Challenge is the flagship competition of the Future Economists Institute, designed to give students hands-on experience of portfolio management, financial analysis, and investment decision-making under realistic market conditions. Teams of 2–4 students manage a simulated £100,000 portfolio over an 8-week trading period, making investment decisions in response to real-world economic events and market data.
The Finals Day brings the top eight qualifying teams together to present their portfolio strategy, performance analysis, and investment rationale to a panel of judges drawn from the City of London and academic finance. Teams are assessed not only on absolute returns but on the quality of their risk management, the rigour of their research process, and the clarity of their communication.
The event includes a keynote address from a City professional, prize presentation, and networking opportunities with judges and alumni. All 16–19 year olds are welcome to attend as observers.
